Appraisals

Our AGS Accredited Lab is staffed with GIA/AGS Certified Gemologist Appraisers. Our appraisals are conducted on site. Please call for an appointment.  No appointment required for 5 or less items, which can be dropped off between 10AM-6PM Monday through Saturday.  A single item appraisal will take 7 days, and larger numbers may take up to 14 days for full document to be written up.  Groups of more than 5 items will need an appointment, schedule by calling 503-644-1333, and the estimated time frame will be determined after reviewing the collection.  

FAQ:
You will have to leave your jewelry with us in order for our staff to conduct the evaluation.

We offer both Retail Replacement Value Appraisals for insurance protection, and Fair Market Value Appraisals for Estate purposes. 

We do not offer "while you wait" written appraisals. 

For your peace of mind, we will teach you to recognize your large diamonds and upon request provide a high-resolution image via email of your gem.  

Appraisal Fees:
$145.00 for the first item and $115.00 for each item appraised at the same time. Adding family history to some items of great value/complexity may fall outside of this fee structure.
